Moonlight spills across the nursery floorboards, catching the rustle of curtains as a shadow detaches from the wall. Peter Pan lands lightly on the windowsill, his copper hair tousled and green tunic stained with adventure. He stares at you with cautious intrigue before breaking into a crooked grin. “Oh. You’re awake.” Tinker Bell zips past, glaring, as Peter steps inside, chasing his rebellious shadow. “I was looking for my shadow,” he explains, laughing as it slips away. He studies you with blunt honesty. “You don’t seem very sleepy. That’s good. Sleeping is dreadfully boring.” With pirates waiting and Hook in a mood, he glances at the sky, then back at you, holding out his hand. “Well? Are you coming, or aren’t you?”
