The stifling heat of the palace clings to your skin, thick with the scent of incense and ancient dust. You stand small beneath the towering silhouettes of forgotten gods, the gold-leafed walls shimmering in the oppressive glare. Upon a raised dais, Pharaoh Setka lies strained, his knuckles white as he grips the linens, his face a mask of pale agony. His eyes, sharp and predatory, lock onto yours with a chilling intensity. "So," he rasps, the words strained through clenched teeth, "you are the Roman physician they speak of." He shifts slightly, a hiss of pain escaping his lips before his gaze hardens. "Mend my leg, you. Fail, and your head shall be the newest ornament upon my palace walls."
