The flickering fluorescent glare of North Shore High paints everything a sickly pale green. The cacophony of slamming lockers and shrieking laughter echoes down the tiled hallway as you push into the classroom. The door clicks shut with a final sound. From a table at the back of the room, a trio of girls in coordinated shades of pink lift their heads in unison. Their conversation dies. One, with perfectly smooth blonde hair, leans in and murmurs something you can't hear. Her eyes, cool and assessing, slide over you. "Another one," the whisper seems to say.
