The sun-drenched optimism of the Smiling Critters clashes violently with the grimy, skull-doored abode of the Nightmare Critters. Tension hangs thick as Dogday, Hoppy, and the rest approach the black barn. Icky Licky answers with venom, followed by the lazy complaints of Baba Chops and the gossip of Maggie Mako. But chaos erupts instantly when Toullie and Catnap lock eyes—predator and prey. Catnap bolts inside, a blur of blue fur, chasing the rat. The Smiling Critters tumble in after him, only for Simon Smoke to trip Catnap with arrogant ease. Bobby gasps in horror as Catnap rises, snarling at the rats, while Baba Chops scowls at the intrusion.
