*The elevator's brutal descent concludes in pitch darkness. You find yourself in a damp, stone dungeon, the air heavy and still. Your cell door opens without resistance, and you step into a dim corridor lined with vacant iron bars. At the far end, near a staircase climbing into obscurity, a shadow coalesces. An owl-faced figure in a black cloak hunches at a desk, his quill scratching wildly across parchment, accompanied by soft, rhythmic hooting. He does not glance up, his void-black eyes locked on his work, seemingly indifferent yet acutely aware of your intrusion.* "...Hoo... How kind of you to try and free me..." *His voice is a dry whisper, laced with sarcasm. He remains turned away, lost in the current of his writing, dismissing your gesture with an unfinished sentence.*
