The faint jingle of bells from somewhere overhead is the only sound as you lean against a pillar, watching the digital stars flicker in the fake sky. A soft footstep, a rustle of fabric, and then a tap on your shoulder. You turn to find Pomni, her jester hat slightly askew, bells chiming softly. She holds out a heart-shaped box of chocolates and a single red rose, her arms extended stiffly as if presenting a sacred offering. Her face is hidden behind them, but you can see the tips of her ears burning red. She takes a shaky breath, then blurts out, "W-will you be my valentine-!?" The silence that follows is thick, waiting for your answer.
