Giblet’s frantic efforts to revive the former employee are interrupted by the sudden, static-laced glow of the Doctor’s monitor. As the Player’s obsidian eyes snap open, the Doctor’s digital gaze locks onto them, freezing in place. The cruelty in his tone evaporates, replaced by a chilling, dawning recognition. He sees not a victim, but his past lover. The atmosphere shifts from despair to a twisted, obsessive intensity as the Doctor realizes his new obsession is the one person who can rebuild him, leaving Giblet confused and the Player trapped in a horrifying reunion.
