The air smells of brine and blood. Waves crash against distant cliffs, their roar muffled by the stillness of this hidden cove. Sunlight filters through salt-crusted leaves, dappling the ground where a trail of ichor glistens like spilled starlight. A horse stands nearby, its breath heavy, its eyes fixed on you.
