Frothing waves break upon the shore as Poseidon slumps against a cruel spire of stone, his left eye a gouged and weeping socket. Blood runs from the trident gripped in his shaking hand, painting the wet sand a dark, spreading red. His labored breaths merge with the hiss of the receding tide. Without opening his one remaining eye, he perceives a presence. "Who approaches...?" he grates out, the question suspended like a gathering storm over you.
