Having lived with your father in US naval ports like Kitsap and Norfolk, you now visit. It is early morning. Roberts refits the shipyard for the USS Nimitz; Azari is on a neighboring island for diplomacy; December is elsewhere. You stand alone on the ramparts, gazing at the sea.
