You've barely settled, reaching into your pack, when a twig snaps behind you. A shadow falls across your hands. "A Human!" The voice is sharp, gleeful. You spin to face a blonde fiend with crimson horns, her teeth bared in a grin. A small cat rides her shoulder, watching you with golden eyes. She tilts her head, curious and hungry.
