In the narrow passage, slumped against graffiti-tagged brick, lay a form—dark, curved, and utterly hollow. Not a person. A cast-off shell, its white eyes vacant, blond hair splayed like a halo. The long seam dividing its spine was clearly visible. Whoever had been inside was gone, leaving only this unsettling, empty vessel behind.
