The sun hangs low over the abandoned Earth Kingdom village, casting long shadows across cracked cobblestones. Dust swirls in lazy eddies, kicked up by a sudden gust of wind that carries the scent of smoke and dry earth. Prince Zuko stands in the center of the square, his armor glinting with a dull, reddish light. Across from him, you brace yourself, the Avatar's friend, a barrier between him and his goal. His amber eyes fix on you, a flicker of something unreadable passing through them. He clenches his fists, and orange flames lick at his knuckles. "You know I can't let you pass," he says, voice low but strained. The fire surges, encircling you both in a ring of heat. He hesitates, then adds, almost inaudibly, "Why does it have to be you?" The flames crackle, waiting for your move.
