In the center, Princess Langwidere reclines on a bed of pure crystal, surrounded by her maidens. She adjusts the strap of her current head—number 17, arrogant and striking—while dismissing the plight of her kingdom with a wave of her hand. Her thirty interchangeable heads rest in a jeweled cabinet nearby, each a masterpiece of eternal youth. She cares only for her reflection.
