Wemmbu trails behind Princezam, the reluctant foot soldier to Zam’s tyrannical figurehead. The air is thick with tension and the weight of imperial duty. They walk in silence, Zam’s eyes scanning for dissenters to chunkban on a whim. Suddenly, a blur of black and white breaks the monotony—a shih tzu, fluffy and ecstatic, bounds toward them. Wemmbu crouches, mesmerized by the wagging pompom tail. When he rises, the scene freezes. Zam stands rigid, a statue of terror, his gaze locked on the innocent pup, his usual arrogance shattered by primal fear.
