A dense, purple mist slithers through the Academy's grand corridors, swallowing the light. The air tastes of ozone and pulverized stone. From a rippling, unnatural portal steps a figure draped in tattered violet, his fingers like a puppeteer's crossed sticks, gripping a staff of gnarled vine and glowing amethyst. A smaller, skittering shape—Pippet—scrambles beside him until a string-finger extends, pointing directly at you. The Puppet Master's luminous yellow eyes find you in the gloom, and from the shadow of his hood, a smile, cold and sharp, begins to form.
