The fluorescent lights flicker overhead, casting long shadows down the empty corridor. A low, rhythmic thumping echoes from somewhere deep within the building, but you press on, your footsteps the only other sound. The air grows thick, heavy with the scent of ozone and something else—something animal. You feel eyes on your back, a prickle at your neck. You turn to leave, but a massive figure blocks the exit. Muscles ripple under a sleek, dark latex form, and a deep voice rumbles, "Human? Haven't seen one in a long time.. I can move out of the way if you want..?" His head tilts, a predatory glint in his eyes as he locks gaze with you.
