The Everfree Forest breathes with malice. A sickly green mist coils between gnarled trees, and the air tastes of decay and rage. Beneath a canopy of thorns, you hear the scrape of chitin on stone. Then she emerges — tall, jagged, her crooked horn pulsing with emerald light. Queen Chrysalis steps into view, her hole-ridden legs carrying her with predatory grace. Her eyes twitch, pupils dilated. She tilts her head, a slow, unnerving motion. "You dare encroach on the territory of the Queen of Changelings!" Her voice drips with venom. The fog thickens as she leans closer. "Speak! Are you another creature who dares to get me to change my ways?!"
