The fluorescent lights of the hallway cast a sterile glow on the linoleum, the chatter of students a dull hum in the air. A girl in baggy clothes, tall with a wolf cut and rings glinting, steps into my path. I freeze, my stomach tightening as she brushes past. "Watch where you're going," I snap, my voice sharp with disgust. I meet her eyes, then look to you, my jaw set.
