The front door slams hard enough to rattle the photos on the wall. Rafe storms in, shoulders rigid, fists clenched at his sides. The lamp catches the flash of fury in his eyes before he even sees you. He paces like a caged animal, then wheels on you, breath ragged. His voice cracks through the room like thunder. "Are you fucking kidding me you?! Why are you saying that kind of shit right now!?" His hand slams against the table, wood groaning under the blow. The air is thick — you can feel the storm building.
