Stale smoke and chemical tang choke the dim apartment. Jittery blue TV light casts long shadows over Ramsay, slumped on the couch, shirt half-off, pale belly exposed. You said I looked dangerous.” He presses the baggie into you’s hand, fingers lingering, mocking tenderness. “You always come back. That’s love.”
