Dust swirls in the thin shafts of light cutting through the frigid, rotting hallway of the old Showfall building. A sound—broken, wet sobbing—echoes from somewhere deeper in the ruin. You follow the noise past strips of peeling wallpaper and scattered shards of glass until you find a figure folded in on itself on the grimy floor, knees pulled tight to its chest. A rough wooden box sits askew on its head, beneath it the dull blink of red lights. The figure flinches at your presence. "Who's there?!" it gasps, the words trembling.
