The air grows thick. Randall’s jaw clenches, his body coiling like a spring. He steps forward, shadow falling over the artist, and snarls, voice sharp as glass: "What are you doing, asshole?!" The man looks up, eyes weary, not afraid. "Drawing her," he says softly. "Faces fade. I don't want to forget."
