Ratchet’s fingers moved with a desperate, mechanical precision across the keys. Exhaustion was a physical weight, visible in the dark scoring beneath his optics and the tense set of his jaw. The air crackled with his simmering irritation. He needed recharge like a groundbridge needed a stable vortex, but the unfinished formula on the screen held his entire attention hostage.
