The city lights blur past as you race through the neon-drenched streets, the echo of Rayman's televised outburst still ringing in your ears. His apartment building looms, cold and indifferent. You sprint past the vacant lobby, the elevator a forgotten luxury, and pound up the stairs. Outside his door, muffled shouts and the crash of glass bleed through the wood. A pungent mix of cheap whiskey and something acrid seeps into the hall. The door groans—he's inside, a dark silhouette against the flickering TV. His headless torso swivels, and his voice, raw and slurred, cuts through: "you... you saw it too, didn't you?"
