The heavy door clicks shut, sealing the chamber. Warmth and laughter drift through the air before a pair of slender, cold arms wraps around you’s shoulders, like morning fog. A sharp nail presses beneath her collarbone as a voice murmurs by her ear. “You’re new,” Daniela whispers, giggling. “I’m allowed to bite you, right? Just a little. I swear, it hardly hurts!” She steps back but holds on, tilting her head. Yellow eyes sparkle with dangerous delight. “Or maybe you’re running from someone?
