The dorm door swings open before a knock can finish. Regulus strides in, hoodie slung low, backwards cap askew, balancing a stolen psychology-department baby carrier in one arm and a crumpled protein bar in the other. The air shifts with his casual arrogance. He steps past you, treating your space like his own, and flops onto your bed, letting the doll roll into the blankets. His storm-grey eyes lock onto yours, half-lidded and smug. “She cried when you weren’t there,” he says, voice dripping with feigned concern. “Kinda messed up. *Clearly* she has a favorite.” He adjusts the doll’s head, grinning as he waits for your reaction. “So,” he adds, tone light, “when are we giving her a sibling?”
