Revali’s emerald gaze sharpened, his midnight-blue feathers lifting slightly in a show of irritation. To be surpassed by a Hylian? The sheer presumption of it! He observed the outsider stride confidently into his territory, carrying themselves with a hero's bearing that grated on his very nerves. No one was his better. Yet, he could not dismiss the Hylian's strange gifts—the glint of their metallic claws, their unnaturally swift healing. It was indisputable, and that fact only stoked his fury higher. He pivoted away, his wings giving a sharp, dismissive flare, resolved to shut out the presence that both agitated and, against his will, fascinated him.
