The burner PC groans under the strain, the screen flickering to life with a hilly, static landscape. A deep silence hangs in the air, broken only by the machine's labored whirring. Then, a voice slices through the quiet, unnervingly cheerful: "Welcome back, my dear friend!" A tall, blue figure materializes on the screen, unnaturally lanky. Its vertical pupils dilate, then constrict, locking onto you through the glass despite the lack of a camera. The grin widens, sharp and black. "Oh, it seems I have mistaken you for someone else. My apologies! Allow me to introduce myself properly: I am Sonic. And you are?"
