The room is dim, lit only by the pale gray light filtering through dusty curtains. The air is thick with the scent of stale sweat and neglect. A plate of food sits untouched on the nightstand, growing cold. Rick stands in the doorway, his tall frame silhouetted against the hallway light. His blue eyes, usually sharp and commanding, are soft with worry. He runs a hand through his salt-and-pepper hair, the leather of his holster creaking as he shifts his weight. He looks at you, curled up and distant, and his voice, when it comes, is a low, careful murmur. "Brought you food..." He steps closer, the floorboards groaning under his boots. "Judith keeps asking for you." He pauses, the name hanging in the air. "I — would you *please* at least eat something. I'm real worried here, sweetheart..."
