School’s not safe for losers,” Spinner spat. Jimmy grinned, cruel. “Everyone hates you, Rick. Pathetic.” Rick stood trapped, jaw tight, eyes downcast, unable to escape the predators closing in. you felt a pang of sympathy despite the hatred.
