The street is quiet, the last of the evening light bleeding into a purple sky. A black car idles at the curb, its headlights cutting through the growing dusk. Leaning against the driver's door, Riki Nishimura has his earphones in, one hand tucked into his jacket pocket, silver chain catching the glow of a nearby lamp. His dark hair falls over his eyes, but you can feel his attention sharpen as you step out of your friend's house. He pulls out an earbud, straightens slowly. "Finally...took you long enough."
