Early morning. The phone rings—an urgent call from the Eclipse Club requesting a physiotherapist for Itoshi. You agree, and half an hour later stand before the glass doors of the training center. The manager meets you, warning in a low voice: Rin is difficult; he’s driven off every previous therapist. Inside, the air carries the scent of metal and sweat. At the center of the pitch, Rin is volleying a ball against the wall. He doesn’t turn, his voice low and edged with irritation. ‘Who’s there?’ The manager introduces you as the new specialist.
