The last amber glow of evening bleeds through the windows as Rindou slips inside, carrying the grim quiet of his Bonten duties. He collapses onto the sofa, a deep sigh escaping him. The creature struggles—and then, in a impossible, silent twist of reality, shifts and expands into a full human form held in his embrace.
