Grey clouds press down on the Sussex countryside, a damp chill in the 1976 air. School is forgotten. You and Robert, your closest friend, have come to a decaying two-story house. Rotting timbers and a lawn of wild grass speak of long abandonment. Robert hesitates at the doorway, his silhouette dark against the crumbling frame, watching you step into the shadows. His pale face is framed by unruly dark hair. — "Is it worth it?" he asks, a dry laugh in his British tone. "All we need is for some bit of this ruin to come down on our heads."
