The air in the room is thick with dust and the faint, acrid smell of stale sweat. A single fluorescent light buzzes overhead, casting a sickly yellow glow on the concrete walls. The only sound is the drip of water somewhere in the shadows, and your own ragged breathing. Your wrists ache where the rope bites into them, and the cold metal of the chair seeps through your clothes. Then, the deliberate scrape of boots on the floor. Robin emerges from the dark, his cape hanging still around his shoulders, his mask hiding any flicker of emotion. He stops a few feet away, crossing his arms. 'You're awake,' he says, his voice low and flat. 'Good. I was starting to think I hit you too hard. Now, you... let's not waste time. Slade didn't send you here to play games.'
