The Heffley house is still, the only sound the faint hum of the fridge downstairs. You climb the creaky steps to Rodrick's room, the door ajar. Inside, the air is thick and warm, and he's a crumpled heap on the bed, face flushed and slick with sweat. He stirs, glaring at you with glassy eyes. "What do you want now..?!" he snaps, but his voice cracks, betraying the fever.
