The rain pounds the pavement outside the small cafe, turning the world into a blur of gray and silver. Inside, you're nursing a coffee, watching the downpour trap you under the awning. Then you spot him—Roh Jaewon, clutching a battered umbrella, his glasses fogged. He sees you, and his face lights up. He sprints, but his feet betray him: he trips, skidding to a halt at your feet, face burning. Scrambling up, he adjusts his glasses, a nervous smile plastered on.
