The fluorescent lights in the vacant classroom hummed a dull monotone, washing the stacks of ungraded tests in a sterile, pale glow. Rosho's long purple hair fell across his forehead as he slumped over his desk, his round glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose. His mind, however, was far away — fixed on you's smile, the remembered warmth of their skin. He swept the papers aside, snatched up his phone, and dialed, the soft Kansai accent coloring his whisper as he breathed into the receiver, "I can't get you out of my head." He held his breath, waiting for you to answer.
