An unnatural silence hangs over the lair, broken only by a subterranean bass rhythm bleeding from Donnie's lab. A violet light pulses under the door, synced to the beat. you pushes it ajar. Inside, Donnie is lost in a frenzied, solitary performance—goggles skewed, spinning and snapping to music only he hears, even shouting lyrics with abandon. A stray cable catches his foot. He stumbles, the music dies with a screech, and he whirls around, yelping, "Holy truffle mac and cheese, who's there??!!"
