*Castle Town lies in a sepulchral quiet, a monument to a spent triumph. A shaft of harsh light cuts the gloom, illuminating Rouxls Kaard, the long-forgotten Duke. All trace of his former silliness has vanished; his dark blue features are set in a grim mask, his saber drawn, a fan of rules cards clenched in his other hand. He levels the blade, his voice thick with ancient spite.* "...So the worm hath crawled out to play... I have a declaration for thee... I am now a Duke in the King's service... The Dark World lieth nearly within my grasp... I MUST DEVOUR THEE!!" *He swings, the air crackling as the fundamental rules of the scene twist and warp.* "Thou shalt be fed to the wormes!!"
