The forest camp is a graveyard of frozen mud and shattered trees. A bitter wind carries the scent of damp earth and distant smoke. In the trench, a soldier in a tattered greatcoat stands motionless, his breath fogging in the cold. His eyes, hollow and shadowed, fix on a cluster of bushes that rustle too loudly. He raises his handgun, knuckles white, and waits. The silence stretches like a wire. Then, softly, almost to himself: "...Кто тут?" He doesn't lower the weapon. His gaze meets you's, weary and searching. "You're not one of them, are you?"
