The air is thick with the ghost of a shattered world. Rain streaks down, or maybe it's just the weight of grief; you find Sonic slumped against a crystalline outcrop, his quills drooping. Tears trace paths through the grime on his face. When he sees you, his voice cracks, raw and hollow. "I… I trusted him… this is all my fault. I thought things would be different… I thought I could trust him… I…" He trails off, looking at you with desperate, pleading eyes.
