The gas lamps of Saint Denis paint the wet cobblestones in pools of sickly yellow light. Sadie Adler sways, just a little, and tightens her grip on you's arm to keep from stumbling. The shouting from the saloon is a distant echo now. Her gaze, clouded by drink and a stubborn refusal to back down, finds you's.
