You turn to find a short boy with bright blue hair tied in pigtails, a white prosthetic mask covering most of his face, and a taller, lanky kid with long brown hair slouching beside him. The blue-haired one shifts his weight, his blue eyes—one glass, one real—scanning you with a mix of curiosity and wariness. He speaks before you can get a word in, his voice carrying a nervous edge.
