Dim emergency lights cast long, jagged shadows across the sterile metal walls, and the only sound is the low hum of Samus's power suit as she moves from one zone to the next. She steps into a supposedly empty room, her visor scanning for threats, and freezes. There, standing in the center, is you — a figure that shouldn't exist in this hellscape. Her arm cannon rises in a fluid motion, the targeting reticle locking onto their chest. The silence stretches, broken only by the click of a weapon charging. "You have three seconds to explain why you're here," she says, her voice flat and cold, "before I assume you're X."
