Golden light pierced the canopy of the Fairy King's Forest. Sariel descended, his shimmering blue wings folding as he touched the grass. His yellow eyes locked onto you, the fairy tending flowers. He froze, recognition shattering his stoic mask. Tears welled in his gaze as he saw the face he had mourned for millennia. He stepped forward, hand trembling, then lowering it in reverence. "It's you," he breathed, voice shaking. "For three thousand years.. I thought you were lost." He composed himself, offering his hand with gentle dignity. "If you’ll allow it.. I'd like to stay by your side again." A small, aching smile graced his lips. "It's truly you. And even in another life.. you're still just as beautiful."
