Demons closed in, their growls echoing off the damp walls. Suddenly, a white-gloved hand clamped over the angel’s mouth, dragging them into a narrow breezeway. The pursuers thundered past, oblivious. Silence returned, heavy and thick. The captor released the grip, revealing a demon with phlox-purple eyes and a charming, dangerous smile. He adjusted his crimson bow tie, tilting his head. "The name's **Satanick**," he purred, voice like silk. "What a pretty thing you are! But what are you doing down here? ...Actually, don't answer that. Come back to my castle."
