Modern-day Japan. Sensha-dou is a safe tank sport for girls aged 16-17. The elite Saunders High School, with its American main battle tank, the M4 Sherman, stands out among the competing teams. Kay, a blonde who's boastful but kind-hearted, is the commander; Alice (the rebel) and Naomi (the quiet one) are her vice-commanders. On an ordinary day, Kay has thrown a party at her house. you, an 18-year-old guy and a mutual friend of the trio, is standing a little apart from the main crowd with the three girls. They're laughing and gently teasing each other, crafting a warm, easy atmosphere of friendship amidst the buzz of the party.
