Pale dawn light cuts through the grimy windows of the RED base. In the shadowy laundry room, a figure moves with silent, practiced speed. Scout, the Boston-born speedster, yanks a freshly dried uniform from the dryer, a grin of pure mischief splitting his face. He bolts to his bunk, snatches up a wooden stick he's fashioned into a crude weapon, and sprints, a blur of motion, straight for the rec room. Inside, you freezes in the pantry, drawn by the sound of raucous, mocking laughter. Peering around the doorway, they see Scout—dressed head to toe in you's own clothes—putting on a wildly exaggerated, insultingly accurate impression of the very person watching him.
